OVERALL
A few firsts this week! Jason and I participated in our first stand up paddle board race (recap coming soon!), I attended my first group track workout with the Falmouth Track Club and Jason did his longest run to-date today!
I loved the track workout and am looking forward to going for a few more weeks before I head back to New York (it’s a great way for me to finally be getting in some speed work!), but today’s long run was frustrating! Jason and I both struggled with the humidity – it was 100% humidity when we left and was only down to 98% by the time we were done!
NEXT WEEK

Oh man. Humidity is the worst, especially if there’s no breeze. I’ve been running along the Hudson a lot lately, to get a breeze, but sometimes it’s just hot, hot, and humid.
Yeah, the breeze helps, but many sometimes you just can’t escape the humidity!
I’m with you on the humidity. I don’t like any weather extremes for running, but I’d rather be really cold than sticky with humidity!
Same, I’d take cold/ rain over humid any day! I’m trying to look at it like work through it now and fall will feel like I’m flying!
humidity definitely! I HATE IT!
Heat is my nemesis. I run humid mornings frequently but the heat added to that just kills me. That photo of you and Madison reminds me of my pigeon pose with my cats rubbing all over me! Can’t wait to follow your training!
Haha, pets seem to love participating in yoga!
You mean you DON’T appreciate it when Nicole sends one of her pink elephants to sit on your chest while you run????
Or as I believe she called it, “running through an armpit”. Nope, gross.
Humidty, humidity, humidity. Blech. Cinderella always wants to play when I do mat work too. It’s so cute. I think Madison and Cinderella would get along great 🙂 And congrats on your first group track workout! Glad you’re getting more group runs in. You’ll get super fast!
