Sunday – taught 90 minutes YOTB

This class was such a treat – not only was the weather AMAZING, but 2 of my Cape Cod running friends joined and it was my mom’s first yoga class EVER!

I was so glad my friend Stacey (who’s a professional photographer!) snapped a few amazing pictures for me!

Overall

This long weekend was like a little mini stay-cation for Jason & I.  He had a few days between his summer class sessions and my summer class begins this week so we took advantage of the time and enjoyed Cape Cod like we used to when we’d just come up for vacation!  The weather was amazing, we spent most of our time on the beach and had lobster for dinner – it was just what we needed!

That being said, I got a little lazy and totally skipped my long run this weekend.  I’ve been so yoga focused this summer that I’ve been having a really hard time motivating myself to get out of bed and go for those runs (not to mention the humidity really snuck up on us this past week!).

I have the Marine Corps Marathon coming up in the fall though, so I really need to hold myself more accountable and get out there for those runs!

Speaking of the Marine Corps Marathon, I’ve been so amazed by the support of my friends & family for my Run for Autism – I’ve had to increased my fundraising goal for a SECOND TIME already!

Please take a moment to read why I’m Running for Autism!
