This week I gave myself a bit of a break…
The past few weeks my legs have felt like lead every time I ran and with a test in one class and my online class beginning this week I decided to give my legs a rest and spend some extra time on my classes.
If you haven’t already checked out my review of Running Strong that I shared this week you can find it HERE! The book is a great resource and full of useful information that any runner can benefit from, I can’t recommend it enough!

Sunday – 5 mile run
Weekly Mileage – 15 miles

Overall
Only 2 runs this week, but my legs definitely felt better than they have the past few weeks after taking a few extra rest days.
I have to admit I’m struggling a bit to keep up with everything on my plate right now – working full time, teaching yoga, 2 school classes, running and going to yoga myself – it’s going to be a bit of trial and error the next few weeks to find a routine that allows me to get it all in!
What tips & tricks do you have to managing your busy schedule?
By the way, have you all seen the Brooks Boston Marathon specialty sneakers??
Aren’t they AMAZING?! I am totally obsessed!
Achieving balance is tough. When there’s a lot on my plate, I always feel like something has to slip. If you figure it out, let me know!
Wow, that yoga pose looks really hard. You are clearly an advanced yogi! I ordered the Brooks sneakers and am so excited about them. They are awesome and I love the net bag that comes with them.
arm balances are my favorite!
Those shoes are pretty awesome! You are pretty strong if you’re able to hold that yoga pose 🙂
