Weekly Training Recap and Goals

RECAP (8/13-8/19)

Monday –  45 minutes elliptical

Tuesday – 40 minute AB Run (3.1 miles)

Wednesday – rest day

Thursday – 60 minute AB Run (4.7 miles)

Friday – rest day

Saturday – 10 mile long run (1 hour 57 minutes)

Sunday – 45 minute AB Run (3.79 miles)

Overall – Finally got in a long run…and it felt good!  I stopped back at the house and was going to go out for another couple of miles, but the rain picked up and I heard thunder so I scrapped that.  Definitely feeling ready for the Disneyland 5k and Half Marathon in two weeks!

NEXT WEEK (8/20-8/26)

Happy 5 years to Jason and I!

Hoping to get in one more long run before the DL Half Marathon (less than two weeks away!) and I want to be sure to keep up with yoga, foam rolling and stretching so I don’t have any piriformis or arch issues during the race.  Maybe I’ll even sneak in a pre-race massage before leaving for California : )
