My running had definitely felt a little sluggish ever since the New York City Marathon and Wine & Dine Half Marathon. I’m not sure if I didn’t give myself quite enough time to recover or if I’m just struggling to get back into training, but after having a not-so-great 7 mile run on Saturday, I opted to postpone my long run on Sunday (which should have been 16 miles for Goofy training) in favor of some much needed yoga!
However, while I may not have had the best run on Saturday, Jason’s run was great! This was his longest straight run (no walk breaks) to-date and he totally rocked it!
I’m not even sure if I’ve mentioned it here, but Jason’s going to be running his first half marathon in January at Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! I’m so excited for us to do this race together!
I tried on a pair of those ISOs yesterday. Needless to say they are on my Christmas list.
Oh my goodness, I fell in love with them as soon as I put them on!
They are fantastic. I can’t stop thinking about them! I might end up picking them up while I’m Black Friday shopping
I’m excited you will be running together for Jason’s first race. Advice for Jason: don’t worry about your time. You are running in the most magical place on earth and have fun! It’s local races where you try for PR’s, not your first half! Happy Thanksgiving D!
Thanks Pam, I’m really excited about it too!
Can’t wait to see the blanky. My first half was in training for my first full. I had bad IT band issues, it wasn’t pretty. Finished though!
I can’t wait to get my blanket either – finally a good use for all those shirts!
Way to go Jason….!!!!!! Dani, love the quilt idea…. where does one get it made? dad
Project Repat is the name of the company, I’ve heard from friends they come out really nice!
Hooray for Jason, that’s awesome 🙂
Oh pick me, pick me. I have tons of shirts and lulu would love to share a new cozy blanket with mana.
