OVERALL

I’m still loving getting to yoga and totally slacking on running, but I’m glad I got in a brick style workout on Saturday to prepare for my upcoming triathlon!  I did a 10 mile bike ride followed by a 3 mile run (which are the distances of the race).  My legs certainly felt like bricks (hence the name of the back to back workouts!) for the first half mile or so, but once I sort of shook off the bike ride it felt like a pretty normal run!

I’ve laid out a training plan for my fall races and I’m committing to get on track and begin following a plan in June!

Madison was pretty excited to have the pool at my mom’s house open!

She loves throwing the bone into the pool and then going to get it!

Anyone doing anything fun for Memorial Day Weekend??

I was hoping to get up to Cape Cod, but not sure if I’ll be able to or not…

  1. Nice job on the “brick”. Most of the people in my running group do tri’s and I feel like such a slacker being “just” a runner! Congrats to your sister on her graduation!

  2. Congratulations to your sis! And automatically the best graduation EVER! Seriously, who has a concession stand? That’s awesome!

Oh yeah, and good job on your workouts too! 😛

  3. I think big graduations need concession stands. People get hungry, or at least I get hungry during those ceremonies. Good job on the workouts!

  4. Nice workouts! I’ll be heading to Boston this weekend to see friends. I’m hoping to fit in a nice run around Jamaica Pond on Saturday morning 🙂

  5. Congrats to your sister! And great job on the brick! Ha – that feeling coming off the bike onto the run is like nothing else!
