Hi! I’m back!
So, I clearly took a bit of an unintentional blogging break. No specific reason other than I’ve just been a little stressed and honestly not really in the mood to write. Dopey training is still going well, I finished up my last “mini-Dopey” training week with back-to-back 3/6/10 & 20 mile runs and now I’m tapering and looking forward to Marathon Weekend!
Just a quick post to catch up on all my missed Weekly Training Recaps so that I have record of all of them for 2013 and I promise heading into the New Year I’ll do my best to be back to regularly blogging!
OVERALL
I had a couple of slow, lazy weeks which had me a little nervous about my Dopey training, but I made it through the holidays and managed to get in my last back-to-back-to-back-to-back Dopey simulation and while it wasn’t my best 20 mile run ever, it certainly wasn’t my worst.
NEXT WEEK
The next week and a half of taper time leading up to the Dopey Challenged will be lots of hydrating, foam rolling and stretching to make sure I’m ready to tackle 48.6 miles over 4 days!
Now all that’s left is weather stalking and packing!

I can not wait for you to do Dopey!! I am hoping maybe next year I can make that happen!!
Yes! You should totally do it if you ever get the chance, the Disney races are expensive, but usually worth the experience : )
Good luck with tapering! I need to piece something together until I head to Disney.
My arch has really been bothering me so I’m really focusing on resting and trying to get it better before I head to Florida!
