Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom and all the other mom’s out there!
As I’m writing this I just realized you’ve all seen pictures of my mom and sister since they’ve run with me a few times, my dad is usually at the races as our team photographer (and if you read the blog comments at all, he seems to have quite the fan club!), but how many of you reading (other than anyone related to me!) know I have a brother??!
Honestly, it’s true! I’m the oldest, my sister is the youngest and there’s a brother in the middle! He’s off doing much more worldly and more important things than running and Disney so he’s has yet to make an appearance here on the blog, but maybe we’ll be able to catch him at the Marine Corp Marathon in the fall since DC is his home base between travels!

Running – On the train to work today I am going to work on putting together my training plan for the next few months to get ready for Dumbo, Marine Corp and Dopey!
Yoga – hoping to go to 3 classes and I’m teaching 2!
And, because I haven’t posted a picture of Madison in awhile…
Love the photo of you, your mom and sis at DL 5k! Isn’t it fun running races with your family? My mother’s day week was complete when Christine registered for Wine and Dine….so excited!
Great photo of you with your sis and mum Danielle, that is so cool that you all run together. Good luck with finals, I’m sure you will rock them! Big hugs to Madison too from down under! 🙂 – Simone
Thanks Simone, glad to be done with finals! Sorry I’m just getting to this, I’m WAY behind on blog reading/ writing/ and commenting!
Hey Dani….
is that bottle of “homemade” wine on the study table for you or Madison? :0
dad
Your family order is the same as mine and I have the same problem! Lots of people forget I have a brother (and that he has an older sister) but my sister and I are really close. Plus, I’m sure it doesn’t help I don’t live in town.
I have to work on my plan for Dumbo as well. I was supposed to start yesterday, but that didn’t work out so well. Good luck with your finals! Unrelated, but still somewhat, I finished reading “The Long Run” and I think if anyone gives you “grief” about physical therapy, you should make them sit down and read that book! Obviously, Matt Long is an amazing role model, but think of how far he was able to come, not only because of himself, his family and friends, but because of the amazing physical therapists he had helping and supporting him! Just saying…
Thank you so much for this comment! The Long Run really did help to convince me physical therapy was what I wanted to be doing. Isn’t it such an amazing story?? Did you enjoy the book? It’s one of my favorites.
I did enjoy the book! I even passed it on to my dad to read…it’s an incredible story! I think EVERYONE should read the book!
I love putting together training plans. You have so many fun races to plan for!
Yes, I definitely have a busy fall, but I couldn’t pass any of them up! : )
