Weekly Training Recap

RECAP (5/13-5/19)

Monday – rest day / taught 1 hour yoga class

Tuesday – 90 minute yoga class

Wednesday – 3 mile run and 45 minutes elliptical

Thursday – finals and then dinner in the city with friends!

First Korean Bar-B-Que experience.  I’m still not quite sure what I think of it.  I mean it wasn’t bad, it was more…confusing.  Seriously, what the heck do you do with all this stuff?!? (If anyone reading this happens to have any insight into the art of eating Korean BBQ please fill me in!)

Korean BBQ

Friday – 90 minutes of yoga and taught 75 minute yoga class

Saturday –  5 mile run (and not a good one. I literally tripped and fell flat on my face.)

After my not so wonderful run I met my friend Pat in the city to check out the 9th Ave Food Festival, where we ate A LOT…

Food Festival

…and I discovered my next car!

Pizza Truck

Yes, this is a truck with a BRICK OVEN PIZZA STOVE on the back.

I seriously need one.

Sunday – rest day (& lots of house cleaning!)

Yoga – 3 hours, taught 2.25 hours

Weekly Mileage –  8 miles (Yikes, but studying for finals definitely was a priority this week!)

2013 Mileage – 260 miles

NEXT WEEK (5/20-5/26)

I’m off from classes this week (I start a summer class the following week), but I’ll be doing observation hours in a physical therapy clinic most days.

Running – I finally put together my training plan for the summer through Marine Corp!  I’ll post about it soon.  Hoping to run 3-4 times this week.

Yoga – 2 or 3 classes depending on what I end up doing next weekend

  1. That pizza looks incredible. There is no good pizza in the south and it kills me!!
Watching the final seconds of this Rangers game tick off…they better get their butts in gear for the next game!!!

  2. Your training went waaaaay better than my week! I’m still bummed (despite the “weird”) I missed your class on Friday night, getting home from work at 9:30 on a Friday night sucked :/

And if you get that pizza truck, I will definitely find myself in your neighborhood a lot more often…I may even move there lol

  3. I competed in Taekwondo in Korea in 2004 so I know all about the food. How did you find the kimchi? It was too spicy for me. I stuck to rice!

Leave a Thought!
