Weekly Training Recap

RECAP (4/8-4/14)

Monday – 5 mile run

Tuesday – rest day

Wednesday – 90 minute yoga class

Herd Hockey Night

Thursday – rest day

Friday – 75 minutes yoga class

Saturday – 90 minutes of yoga, 1 hour on the elliptical 

Sunday – 3 mile run

Yoga – 4.15 hours

Weekly Mileage –  8 miles 

Monthly Mileage –  29 miles

2013 Mileage – 217 miles

Overall – Took a bit of a running break this week, mostly because I spent a lot of time working on trying to figure out some school related issues and studying for a test.  I’m hoping to get back on a regular running schedule in the next week or two.

NEXT WEEK (4/15-4/21)

Running – I’m reading the book Run Less, Run Faster and I’m eager to get started with some of the suggested speed workouts

Yoga – 3 classes

  1. Run Less, Run Faster is what I (tried to) use in preparation of this past half marathon. I think it worked. Will definitely try again to follow it with a little more accuracy,
