I saw this posted on a fellow Greatist Ambassador Hannah’s blog a few weeks ago and it just seemed so relevant to me since I’m in the process of going back to school for 5 years! Definitely a good quote for me to keep in mind when I start to get frustrated about how long it’s going to take me!
A few other things to share this weekend:
- Since I’m home studying all weekend I thought I’d share this Greatist article on 23 Science-Backed Study Tips for any other students out there!
- I just took some Dayquil and I’m hoping to feel well enough later to get out for a quick run. How do you know if it’s ok to workout when you’re sick? Check out this Runner’s World article to help decide if a run may be just what the doctor ordered, or if rest is what you need!
Do you have any long term goals you’re focused on right now?
Do you run or rest when you’re not feeling well?
Feel better! Rest up, and don’t over do it. Love the quote!
Thanks Taylor, I almost never get sick so when I do I feel like my body’s really telling me to just take a break!
What has you down? A bug of sorts! I hope nothing to serious. Hope you’ll feel better. Bill
Thanks, seems like just a cold : (
Hi! I’m new here but that is one of my favourite quotes! I think about it all the time, because how often have we looked back and though, “If only I’d started working toward xx goal a year ago, I’d be so far along!” Keep on truckin’ 🙂
Exactly! That’s how I feel about going back to school, I’ve been thinking about it for years and I’m like, “Ugh, if only I started 5 years ago I’d be done!” Thanks for stopping by!
I need something that says:
“Never give up on a dream just because you feel lost and helpless (because you are not a priority as a student). This too shall pass”.
Been a bit frustrated with my ‘advisor’ as of late…not sure how I’m going to finish my thesis 😦
Oh no! That must be so frustrating. Good luck, I hope everything turns out ok!
