In case you don’t follow me on Instagram, I can’t resist sharing this gorgeous Cape Cod sunset photo from last weekend!
We met some of our run club friends for dinner in Wood’s Hole so we could go to this great little mexican place before it closed for the season (lobster tacos anyone?!?) and then sat out on the dock of another bar and watched the sunset – loving Cape Cod living so far!
(Taco picture for Scott – what do you think??)

Saturday – Zooma Cape Cod Half Marathon (recap coming soon!)
Sunday – rest day / lots of stretching!
Weekly Mileage – 16 miles
2014 Mileage – 509 miles
OVERALL
Clearly a terrible workout week – I only ran twice and that’s all I managed to do…not good.
I did have a great time at the Zooma Half Marathon though! It most certainly wasn’t my best race (there are A LOT of things I did wrong!), but it was great to meet the other race ambassadors and run on this beautiful course! Recap coming soon, but I definitely took a lot away from this race!
NEXT WEEK
This week is going to be tough workout wise. It’s my first event weekend at my new job so I expect late nights and full work days this weekend so we’ll see how much I get in!
MARATHON TRAINING WEEK 15
Monday – rest day
Tuesday – run club (3 miles)
Wednesday – cross train
Thursday – 3 mile run
Friday – cross train
Saturday – 8 mile run
Sunday – all day work event
Glad the race went okay – I always love reading your recaps.
How did you get the ambassadorship? Sounds so cool! (Not sure if you wrote about it and I’m forgetting…)
I actually just applied to be an ambassador on their website! I was a little surprised to be chosen since I didn’t actually live on the Cape at the time!
Look fwd to reading your recap – loved all the ZOOMA CC pics on social media
It was really a great race, definitely looking forward to doing it again!
Can’t wait to read your recap!
As a general rule, we don’t trust tex-mex places north of Texas, but I gotta admit, those look pretty good! I bet they went good with that beer too!!!
