Weekly Training Recap

In case you missed it I shared last week that I’ve joined a charity team to run the New York City Marathon this fall!  I’ll be running as part of Team Animal League to benefit North Shore Animal League, the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization!

In the coming weeks I’ll begin to share more about the organization and some of my fundraising efforts!

RECAP (4/7-4/13)

Monday – rest day

Tuesday – 45 minutes elliptical

Wednesday – 75 minute yoga class

Thursday – 30 minutes elliptical

Friday – rest day

Saturday – 3 mile run & taught 75 minute yoga class

Sunday –  walk with Madison & Jason

Family on the Couch

Weekly Mileage –   3 miles

2014 Mileage – 179 miles 


Definitely a light week after Cherry Blossom Weekend in DC.  With no races on my calendar for a bit I’m taking the time to regroup and figure out what my workouts are going to look like for the next few weeks.

    • Thanks! Jason has been traveling SO much for work so it was the first day we’d had off together in a few weeks so we did NOTHING! Pretty much alternated between walks outside because it was so nice and sitting on the couch catching up on TV shows!

    • Thanks! I kept going back and forth about it, but in the end I realized all of my really good “running friends” are running this year and I’d love to share the experience with them : )
