  1. Congrats on 700 miles…..I did not have a mileage goal for the year, but just added mine up earlier today and it was 690. I am happy with that since the first half of the year was just 300 with not many races and July to Dec. Goofy training was 490. Safe travels to WDW!

    • My mileage was actually very similar for the year…through July I was only at 250 miles since I really slowed down after the WDW Marathon last year, but August to now I was at about 450 miles for W&D and Goofy training!

Safe travels to you too, maybe we’ll cross paths! What corral are you in??

      • I am in Corral B for Goofy…not sure how I got that since it is my first marathon, but my best half is 2:03 (from Chip and Dale relay last year). I will be dressed as Minnie for half and Mickey for full, despite being an old lady runner!

    • I’m in corral B too! It’s the right corral as far as my half marathon PR time, but no way I’m finishing the full in under 4:15! I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for you!

  2. Wow!! Congrats on 700+ miles!! I can’t believe how fast Goofy is coming up. Out of curiosity, what is restorative yoga? Is it like yin?

    • Well in both Yin and Restorative you hold the poses for a long time, the difference is that restorative is a very relaxing practice that’s meant to restore your body, you use a lot of props (bolsters, blankets, blocks, etc.) to support your body and just relax…it’s actually very medatative. Yin is really a slow deep practice that uses gravity to deepen in to the stretch. Does that sort of make sense??
