Monday – 3 mile run
Tuesday – 90 minute yoga class
Wednesday – 3 mile run and 90 minute yoga class
Thursday – 90 minute yoga class
Friday – 10 mile run
Saturday – 22 mile Goofy training run! Iced my knees, foam rolling, stretching, etc. (My sister joined me for miles 10-15 since she’s also training for the WDW Half!)
After the run (and all my recovery!) we went to pick out a Christmas tree and stopped at Peachwave so I could get my pineapple yogurt (aka almost a Dole Whip!).
Sunday – 3 mile walk, stretching and foam rolling
Yoga/ Stretching – 5.5 hours
Weekly Mileage – 38 miles run / 3 miles walk
HBBC Points – 66 points
Monthly Mileage – 38 miles
2012 Mileage – 658 miles (only 42 miles to go to hit my 2012 goal of 700 miles!)
Overall – So excited about how well my back to back 10 and 20 mile Goofy training runs went! I was actually feeling so good towards the end of my 20 miles that I kept going and ended up doing 22! I really think all the yoga I’ve been doing is the difference between my training last year and this year.
NEXT WEEK (12/10-12/16)
Definitely a recovery week with a lot of yoga and foam rolling. I also have my yoga teacher training practical this week so wish me luck!
