Weekly Training Recap and Goals

RECAP (10/1-10/7)

Monday – 3 mile run

Tuesday – 1st day of Yoga Teacher Training!

Wednesday – 3 mile run and 90 minute yoga class

Thursday – 90 minute yoga class

Friday – 5 mile run

Saturday – 8 mile run, 1 mile walk

Sunday – 3 mile run, 75 minute class

Yoga – 4 hours 15 minutes

Weekly Mileage – 22 miles

Monthly Mileage – 22 miles

2012 Mileage – 437 miles

Overall – Finally got my weekly mileage over 20 miles AND got in 3 yoga classes!  Guess that’s what happens when you don’t have work to get in the way : )  I was definitely sore after some of the yoga classes so it’s going to be a challenge to get in all of my running with the added yoga practice.  I really enjoyed my first week of Yoga Teacher Training – can’t wait to get back to class on Tuesday!

NEXT WEEK (10/8-10/14)

Week 2 of Yoga Teacher Training and lots of running!  Hoping to start back to back mid-long runs this weekend to start preparing for Goofy.  My goal is at least 4 yoga classes and 4 runs with a minimum of 25 miles.  I’m also hoping to start some of the other things I’d like to work on these next few months like learning Italian and looking in to classes.

  1. Ah. Sounds like the life. Glad you can really enjoy your time right now. I’m hoping to get to a point where I can fit in all of the things I love into my work schedule.

    • Well I guess I’m sort of “cheating” since I don’t exactly have a work scheduled I’m working around right now, but it’s nice to have a few months of “me” time to do some of these things I’ve been wanting to do. (Or as my dad said, my 3 months of retirement!)
