Getting this out a little late since I still don’t have power at home – I’m at the town library right now and it’s PACKED with people charging all their devices and trying to stay warm!
RECAP (10/29-11/4)
Monday – HURRICANE SANDY
Tuesday – HURRICANE SANDY
Wednesday – 3 mile run
Thursday – 5 mile run
Friday – lazy day!
Saturday – 5 mile run
Sunday – 3 mile walk with Jason (to warm up since the house is so cold!) and volunteer day at a Sandy Disaster Relief Donation Drop-Off Location
Yoga – none (ooops! Classes were canceled all week and I never got around to doing any at home…)
Weekly Mileage – 13 miles running, 3 miles walking
Monthly Mileage – October, 103 miles / November, 10 miles
2012 Mileage – 528 miles
Overall – BAD BAD job at getting in any yoga with my studio closed because of the storm, but without power it’s hard to motivate myself to do anything at the house because it’s so darn cold! Not nearly as much running as I would have liked, but it’s better than nothing considering what an odd week it’s been, plus it’s been difficult to find safe running routes with so many trees and power lines down in my area (and I hate that it gets dark so early now!).
NEXT WEEK (11/5-11/11)
It’s Wine & Dine week! I leave Thursday morning to fly down to Orland to meet my runDisney friends Jenn, Dan and Patrick for a week of stuffing our faces at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival! Oh, and running a half marathon sometime in between! Wine & Dine was my first race EVER last year, so I guess it’s sort of like my “race-iversary”! Let’s hope it goes better than my last race!
Yayyy!!! Can’t wait for this weekend! Bring on warm weather and NO hurricane or Noreaster!
Ugh, I know, I keep checking the weather hoping our flights on Thursday are ok!
I am flying down to Orlando on Friday to run the Wine and Dine also. Can’t wait!!!
I’m just hoping I don’t have any flight issues with another storm coming, I heard some have been cancelled already!
Happy “Race-iversary”…. and may you have many many more!!!
