RECAP (1/29-2/5)

Sunday – 6 mile run

Monday – none

Tuesday – 3 mile run

Wednesday – 30 minutes elliptical

Thursday – 3 mile run

Friday – long work day

Saturday – went to Massachusetts to see my cousin’s baby!  Welcome to the world Belle Marie!

Sunday – long work day

Overall – This was definitely my most consistent week since the marathon, I think I just needed a little bit of a break to get back on track! I really wish I could have fit in a long run over the weekend but I had to work on Sunday and I spent Saturday driving up to Massachusetts and back to see my cousin’s baby!

NEXT WEEK (2/6-2/11)

My goal for this week is to just get in a few quality runs and workouts since it’s going to be another busy week work wise.  Fortunately I should have Saturday off so I’m hoping to get in good long run. I’m also looking into getting a new pair of sneakers since I retired one of my pairs…I’m trying to decide between just getting the new version of the Mizuno’s I’ve been running in or trying something new.  I’m really interested in trying the new Brooks PureConnect:

Hoping to get a few more blog posts up this week than I did last week too!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK –

“I have learned that there is no failure in running, or in life, as long as you keep moving.  It’s not about speed and gold medals.  It’s about refusing to be stopped.”  – Amby Burfoot, Winner of the 1968 Boston Marathon and Executive Editor of Runner’s World Magazine
