Hello Friends!
So if you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time you probably know that aside from Disney my other favorite place in the world is Cape Cod!
Jason and I have a place on the Cape and are fortunate enough to spend much of the summer there and (between you and me!) we hope to one day be able to move there full time! (We actually count down the days to “Cape Cod Day!” every year!)
While we’ve always loved Cape Cod for the beaches…
…and lobster…
…and whale watches…
…there is really nothing I love doing more on the Cape than going for a run!
With fall races the past few years I’ve gotten to do many of my training runs while we’ve been up on the Cape for the summer and I love finding new scenic routes and running along the water. Last summer I even did my first Cape Cod race and it was just gorgeous every step of the way!
I’ve had my eye out for other Cape Cod races that would fit into my schedule and I’m excited to share that not only will I be running the Zooma Cape Cod Half Marathon this fall, but I’ve been chosen as an ambassador for the event!!
I’ve heard nothing but great things about the Zooma Women’s Race Series, so I’m really excited to be a part of their Cape Cod event.
The race is Saturday, September 27th and there will be a half marathon and 10k offered. I’ll have more details soon, but in the meantime if my pictures of beaches, lobster and whale watches have you interested in joining me feel free to check out the Zooma website, but hang tight on registering – I’ll have a discount offer to share soon!
And if you have any questions about Cape Cod in general let me know and I’d be happy to do my best to help!
Congratulations! You’re a perfect fit for this race! I had my eye on it, but I’ll be at a wedding that weekend. Looking forward to reading more about it since I’ve never done a Zooma event.
Thanks Karla, I agree, if I’m going to be an ambassador for any race, this is the perfect fit!
Congrats! I haven’t done a Zooma race, but they have one in Texas Hill Country, right in the middle of blue bonnet season. That’s got to be so pretty.
So excited for you Danielle. You are the perfect ambassador and so is Dani who was also chosen. You will have a blast together! Congrats!
Thanks Pam!
I love cape cod! My best friend lives out there in the summer and we try to get down in the summers. This summer she is getting married in Truro.
Oh I just love it! I’ve actually never been out to the Truro area, I really need to continue to explore, there’s just so much to see and do on the Cape!
SO very excited for you! I can’t wait to hear all about your race – maybe I’ll pencil this into my race calendar for next year! 🙂
Yes! We really need to find a non-Disney race to do together sometime!
Congrats!! That’s going to be a gorgeous race. I love the Cape.
Thanks! I’m really looking forward to it!
Congrats! I’m an ambassador too! Looking forward to meeting everyone 🙂
Same!
